Two members of the late James Brown's entourage are hoping to preserve the legacy of the era that their old boss helped create. They say that positive legacy is in danger of becoming extinct because of the negative influence of today's pop culture. Brown's emcee, Danny Ray, and band director, Tyrone Jefferson, hope a documentary titled "The King and the Cape" can assist in reversing the situation.

Burnett scattered six hits over seven innings to win for the third time in four starts, and the Yankees opened the long holiday weekend with a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday.

Is there a filmmaker in the world with worse luck than Terry Gilliam? He was directing Heath Ledger in "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," when the actor died -- and it's not the first time he has lost a leading man. He saved "Parnassus" by enlisting the help of Ledger's friends, among them Johnny Depp. He has even resurrected "Don Quixote," which will start shooting next year.
